Mike Quantrill

Trust Standards Officer

Mike has worked in education for over 30 years, starting his career as a secondary Science teacher.  He has held a range of middle and senior leadership roles in a variety of secondary schools across Norfolk and Suffolk.  At a senior leadership level Mike’s experience has focussed on various areas of school improvement, such as curriculum development, use of assessment, teaching and learning and quality assurance.  He joined the central staff team of Clarion Corvus Trust in September 2019.

Mike is a member of the Chartered College of Teaching, and working alongside the Trust Teaching and Learning Lead supports our senior leaders with school improvement using the latest evidence-informed approaches.  One of the main areas of focus is classroom practice but this also extends into improving attendance, behaviours for learning and ultimately pupil outcomes.

Throughout his career Mike has had a strong commitment to improving the life chances of pupils and facilitating the best outcomes for all.  As the Standards Officer Mike works with our headteachers and senior staff from across the schools in the Trust to build school communities where pupils can flourish.
